Can anyone help identify this helmet??

I recently purchased this helmet..the only info he gave me was it was an M-1 helmet. Can anyone tell me anymore information? Or what war it could be?

I would need more pics, because I am not a helmet guy. I would say maybe a german Bundeswehr helmet?

This a US M1 helmet. Looking at the strap this one was used up to replacement by the PASGT helmet. I think eighties vintage.

But this type of course was used by many nations. Markings in shell and liner, could give definite identification.

More pictures would be nice however, I'm pretty sure that this is not a U.S. made helmet. The straps do look like the type used in the 80's by the U.S. until the advent of the PASGT but, the helmet looks like a European(possibly Belgian or Dutch) made clone of the M-1.
