Very nice helmet. As for the 42 C.L./C. being the most common of the Canadian Mk IIs, I think you're right as I have three!

41 and 43 are the rarest of the Canadian Mk II helmets I just purchased another 42 tonight brush over painted in desert tan I will post it up shortly.

Congrats on the new helmet! Another fantastic piece! Good to see a C Broad Arrow on the chin-strap.
The C Broad Arrow on the helmet has a rather uncommon "Pointy" arrow, most of them are rounded. Nice !!

I think I have 3 CDN two tone nets, and 3 British nets in my collection
CDN:
1. Plain on a CDN Mk.II
2. With scrim on a CDN Mk.II (DP&H)
3. Plain not on helmet (For reference)
British:
1. Plain "Lime Green" (Not on helmet, for reference)
2. With scrim, dark green, on a British Mk.II
3. With scrim, dark brown, on a British Mk.III
