Default Civilian private purchase Fibre helmet.

A recent pick up for me...I thought it a bit different with the original chinstrap made from oilcloth and buttoned on.It also has a tiny stamp on the rim: The Property of G.A.L. Now this could possibly be General aircraft Limited, a ww2 company that made Hamilcar Gliders amongst other things.Helmet and liner are in near unused condition.Liner is a Vero type but no markings other than '7'.Click image for larger version.

Hi, I do not have any fibre helmets myself, but this one looks a cracker, in fantastic condition! Thanks for showing it. Leon.
