    Dear all

I collect original Star Wars film props. I have an original Stormtrooper Helmet used in Return of the Jedi.

I was wondering if anyone here could help to identify the liner used in this helmet. I thought it may be military or based on a military design, I have seen some Paratrooper helmets that look similar. The film was made in 1982 and they made 50 helmets so it must have been readily available.

    Here is a picture:

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi Joe,
a lot of the Star wars prop's were made in the U.K. I did know the name of guy that did the original stormtrooper cast for New Hope, however his name escapes me at the moment. As to the liner in your ROTJ helmet I would say also plastic site hat as used on U.K. building sites since the 1970's

    You could also try

    The Dented Helmet

This is mainly for people who make there own prop Boba Fett costumes however there is also loads of reference about all costumes including Stormtroopers.
