    Default Despatch rider - ID help

    Hi to all!

    I'm a collector of german items so i'ìd like to receive an help from you about this helmet, recently found in italy (near gothic line) during an estate sale.

    It seems to be a despatch rider helmet but i'm not sure (tanker helmet).

    The helmet has no visible markings. It's made of lightweight fiber

    It's very salty and dirty. I hope it can be a wartime item .

    I need your help!

    Hi Simone, I don't think it's WW2 British, possibly a post war helmet from mainland Europe. Maybe French, belgium or Italy.
