    Yellow & blue might be for the royal army service corps, can't help with the 2 white symbols though. Very interesting helmet

    Great looking helmet. Maybe the white star is a badly painted version of the white star for air recognition adopted by the allies for D day?

    They could be post war as it's been over painted, still nice though.

    Didier, the more I look at this the more questions crop up. Is that a "follow me" Officers stripe to the rear, like the American ones? Why the six pointed star? Israeli? Surely not. My guess is the white paint was added postwar.
    A very nice helmet indeed, and a bit of a mystery.

    I have one but not as salty as yours..almost unissued even! I like 'been there' examples better though!
