This maybe a Royal Sussex Regiment helmet , I’m not 100% sure on that though, the helmet is named and I contacted a guy at the West Sussex records office who couldn’t find any matches for the name at the Regiment. The helmet is flashed on both sides .

Here are a few close ups, a bit tricky removing the net as it’s very fragile, a nice pattern of the net left on the shell. Hope pictures are ok you can see pencil lines where the flash has been set out. Also added pics of the names on the shell. Also looks to have a bullet or copper pin replacing the liner bolt.

Or better still stick it here: WW2 British and Commonwealth helmet markings and Badges.

Wherever, it's a great looking helmet.

Lovely looking helmet. Strange to see "Mr" being used for a title. Any idea why ?

Black/Amber/Black are the colours of the 2 Bn East Anglican Rgt. Even though this is a modern amalgamated regiment, it might be worth investigating its original Anglican regiments
