    Default French M26 Helmet

    Hi Guys

As a birthday treat to myself I was thinking of buying and restoring this M26, is it OK or should I avoid it.

I know it is missing liner, chin strap and badge, but I can source these.

    Regards

    Richard

It's a Belgian m31 shell. You can tell by the comb which is not pointed on the front and back. Also the shell is a bit rounder.

Good m26's are easy to get, no point in restoring.

I wouldnt buy this. I sold a good shell with original paint on ebay last year and got just 15 for it. This one must be just about worthless.
