thanks tony i agree with you the badge does suit the condition of the shell just a shame the mounting prongs were missing but im sure i can work round that ,maybe even frabricate and braze on a replacement

I was looking at some of my photos today and may have found your helmet before it chucked in a corner to get rusty. Well, I don't actually know if it's your one but it's the same shape and the badge is missing too
