Helmet

can anyone tell me anything about this wired helmet??? I belive it's a forester helmet of some kind??!! and maby from the 1970-80??? I'm asking from a frind.

The helmet is a construction workers hard hat , post WWII that someone has applied an eagle to. It could be earlier with a replaced liner.
I have a similar one worn by underground miners that has an attachment for a miners carbide lamp.

I think you are right about the liner, and the eagle is attached whit a thin still wire, don't look's to be right for this helmet, and in poor quality, some kind of repro cast WW1 eagle or some kind.
