Here doc, when in doubt I use this page for referance. Not sure if you know these things already, but this is the differance between a WW2 sheel from a post-war one: Dating M1

You would have to ask someone else about telling the differance between a euro-clone. There are various referance threads for that on the forum. I think I can dig one up...

Looks like it has a front seam, and stainless steel rim, with some of the cork remaining under the paint. Or that might just be the texture of the paint in the photos? Better pics would tell as Nick says, but if so, it is a US WW2 lid.
