    Hi Rene, nice helmet, as for the ER I honestly have no idea. If it were not an Aussie lid I would have a guess at Eton Rifles! Leon.

    Here's a picture of the real Eton Rifles around WW1 Rene. They were an Officer Cadet training school at Eton College although I doubt that is what your helmet is. Does it have a date anywhere on it? Leon.

    Really nice to see a helmet with a flash, is it usual to have it on the front?

    Hi Aaron, I wonder whether that is an "RAF" thing as my Observer Corps helmet has it's flash on the front as well and they were attached with the RAF, Leon.Helmet RAAF MKII 42

    Cheers, I can only say that this one is the only one I've seen, not even at any of our museums that I've been to.
