HI guys
Sorry I haven't been here for quite some time but it's being one hell of a hot Summer (that's my excuse anyway) This morning I needed to buy something from e-bay and came across this HSAT item number 302399294434
I always thought that HSAT liners were only made by BMB in WW2 ,so why is this one made by C&S ?
I'm sure someone has as answer
Thanking you in advance
Joe

G&S made the Mk1 in 1943 only, but I wouldn't buy that one, been messed around with to much.

Thanks Aaron your expert advice is always appreciated

The seller of the e-bay HSAT knows better than that. He is an airborne collector. Not a helmet I would want
Here is an honest one for sale :

Ok so the next big question is ,what is wrong with it? repro chinstrap? no net ghosting?repainted? or to rare to be an original?
I have noticed that this seller is always having HSATs for sale and they always go for silly money, how come he is never mentioned in this forum, as now I am assuming that some of them are tempered with just like this one
Thanks

Repainted and repro sweat band for sure. The net has been added to distract from the re-paint. Probably other things, too. I am sure Edwin knows .
