ID These Brodie Helmets ??

Article about: Hello, I'm new to this forum & have a Question hopefully some one can answer. I have a couple Brodie Helmets that I can not ID, one is stamped WO 1 1943, the other is stamped on the band

    Hello, I'm new to this forum & have a Question hopefully some one can answer. I have a couple Brodie Helmets that I can not ID, one is stamped WO 1 1943, the other is stamped on the band & its #'s are VR56 3SLN.     Hi Steve the example on the bottom is Dutch post war produced sorry I can't be of more help with the manufactures specs but I am away from my PC at the moment ...

    The bottom one is indeed a Dutch post war helmet for use by the CD units. Marking reads: VB 56 3 SLN Made by VerBlifa in 1956.

    Thank you Emile, any thoughts on the other one ? I can't find WO maker marks anywhere....

    The WO is probably the steel batch number, by 1943 BMB, RO&Co and EC&Co were still pressing Mk2's.
