    HI Guys
    This turned up in a auction house in the uk it came with a British BD jacket and beret ( might show these later ) its made by Westinghouse it has the galvanised steel triangular washer with raw ends on the neck suspension band which dates it from late 1942 the paint is old some regt numbers can be seen on the liner band and the top of the liner steve

    Awesome liner! These would be worn by US MP's in non-combat zones (typically); the white color earned them the nickname "snowdrops".

    I own an original late WWII liner made by Seaman that's ID'd to an MP who worked with POW's.

    Nice !!

    Was speaking with a US M1 collector a few weeks ago who picked up a black painted MP. My ?? was "where are all the white MP helmets, & were just the liners painted white or shell also ?" This is the first I have seen

    This one looks period done as far as paint aging..I like it !
