    Hey!
I bought this M1 Helmet liner on a flea market some months ago and i'm just wondering if it is a ww2 one or a later made one! All i know is that it's a Westinghouse liner with a Stay CO sweatband. And it has this weird star with stripes painted which makes me think a bit about USAF rondel.
    Thanks in advance!

WWII liner; cannot see the sweatband date but looks good. I am not able to comment on the stripes due to lack of knowledge, sorry.

Hi, looks like a ww2 liner that has seen post war service. Leon.

Thanks for the help! It'll be a good addition to a steel helmet then! Just need to get a chinstrap and the strap fro the back of the helm and it'll be perfect!

Everyone correct on assessment. A nice WW2 liner with post war 1947+ senior airman insignia.
