M1 Liner question Fake?

Hello All,
I'm looking for some liners and saw this one on ebay. If the posting is unavailable, it's an "WW2 GI M1 Helmet Liner w/Neck Band-Firestone Mfg NICE". Not only is it "nice"... it looks BRAND NEW. There's no closeup of the Firestone stamp... The straps look restored, at least. Do I need to be careful of fake liners, is this fake? Maybe I should re-word that, is it a restored liner?

No. I am SO new to this... it just looked like a great find. I hope one you(someone to read this post) got it! I am looking for a liner(s), but I am also unemployed at the moment so my budget is very tight. My wife would kill me, I'll tell her after I buy one. ;-)

Was that a perfect liner?

There were some missing pieces - sweatband, chinstrap and nape strap -
and it would not have been hard to get these for it.

There are a lot of complete helmets around too, and you should
be able to find a nice one reasonably priced.

I posted my two M1s recently and I'm looking for a liner for my USN(it's gray) ww2 swivel bale bucket. The other helmet came with a vietnam liner and cloth cover, but I didn't really check the vietnam shell's seam very close so maybe it's a reissue?(hope springs eternal)

Unless the USN helmet is rare, I'll probably just try to get a cheaper liner for it. Which is why I didn't bid on this liner. I do eventually want to get a fixed bale original(like my avatar is wearing). I'm hooked.
