Malta camo helmet?

Hi Guys
I got this helmet from a junk shop while on holiday in Malta ,what do you experts think about it? have I got the real thing or is it a fake?

I think at one time there was a flash of some sort, I don,t know whether or not it,s covered with paint but you can feel the outline of it,

To me it looks OK on the outside. A few pictures of the liner would have been a great help though. The fact that you bought it from a junk shop - and presumably quite cheap, would also suggest (to me) that it isn't a deliberate fake.

Looks the real deal, but some more pics would be good.

The thing is ,it dosen't look at all like the one tinlid has,the colours seem much darker ,to-morrow I will take it out in the light and have some more pictures taken( any ideas about the flash or the missing one)

See if you can take some close ups of the flash, it might reveal a few specks of colour, which might make it possible to tell what it is.
