Just realized i posted this on the wrong thread, my bad
Is that green stamp on the outside of the cap? Seems odd.
outside, which to me makes it more odd
My medical oversea's looks to be a clone to yours but it has a 406 instead of a 410, same place, same manufactures year. You can see it Royal Canadian Medical Army Corp Headgear.
Very nice, something that's missing from my junk pile.
I have two Canadian FS caps but both of mine are ink stamped the C marking inside in white.

Jerry
Whatever its just an opinion.
Thats why this one seems a bit odd to me, that's the standard having all the stamps on the inside with a white C Broad-Arrow, any idea what the "410" means?

Strange
The numbers as seen under the C-/l\ would represent the government appointed inspector that would have given the final approval of this particular field service cap ...
The colour of the ink and the placement of the stamp are interesting anomalies and not common place as it were the same type of numbering can be seen on other Canadian WW II era equipment that has been handled by inspectors such as on this liners below ...
Canadian Produced ( HSDR )

Ooooooh that's where i remember that from out of the Canadian Liners, it's the exact same as the stamp in the Beret, but can't say ive ever seen it on a FS cap
