Hi Eric,
It's Canadian, BS which I think is Backstay Standard. Interesting to see that yours has black rubber around the inside where as the Britsih DR helmet has fibre padding.

Thank you sir, I'm told of use in tanks and motorcycles has anyone heard of this use?
Also this is same as the britt other than the liner correct?

I should imagine the rubber would be more comfortable than the fibrous material in the British version

The P type which is used to describe that shape of helmet used by the para's, DR's & RAC. They are all slightly different, with different attachtments for the chin straps.
I believe the Canadians made there own steel shells, have a look on the inside to see if it is stamped.
