    Default Mk II British Helmet

    Hi
This is my 1941 dated British Helmet. It,s the first helmet I bought and thought I would share with you all. I know Yogi is a later addition but the place names underneath seem to be period. Is it possible for this soldier to have toured all these places.

Hi, nice WW2 helmet, the writing sure looks like it's been there a long time. If the person who wrote those names on the helmet did travel all that way, I doubt if that particular helmet was with him at the start.
But it is still a very interesting helmet, thanks for showing.

I think the places names look original. It may well have been possible to serve in those locations. I am thinking 8th Army etc then transfered back to the UK for D Day onwards in NW Europe.

    Cheers, Ade.
