    Red and blue are the colours of the Royal artillery but i thought their flash was usually diamond/lozenge shaped?
    Prehaps its altogether something different!.

    I was thinking the same, it looks Royal Artillery to me too, and it's one of those irritating things I KNOW I've seen before somewhere...

    It might be a battery flash. As it's a triangle split three ways, the third in blue could represent P Battery in a Field Regiment, and then the other segments in blue would represent Q Battery and R Battery. The RA used a similar system on their vehicle markings, using a red square split into quarters. Alternatively, it could even represent one of the three field regiments in a division.

    That's what I suspect it is anyway...
