    Thought I'd take a gamble on this one as the lettering was old, but as to what it stands for?
    It's an army textured khaki green inside & out, with 'MAC' A2 CD. Army, Navy or maybe home front, only due to the CD, but probably not.
    Shell made by BMB & dated 1941, liner also dated 41.

    Hi Aaron, I saw this one as well, I to could not think what on earth it could stand for either. The only thing that does seem odd is the little "quote" marks on the MAC. It is as if that's the guy's name? Anyway, I guess this is another one destined to be a mystery. Leon.
