Default Mk2 Home Guard with original net

One of the 700,000 grade 2 helmets issued to the home guard, this one being a No.2B (2 holes in the brim)
Unusually still in its factory finish grey & not repainted khaki green, the net which is original to the helmet has left a shadow/imprint on the paint.
The liner is a bit knackered but was made by the lesser known maker of C.G&S, G&S I know is Gimson & Slater. The liner is dated 1941 but the shell has no date/maker that I can see but would have been made by one of the following: BMB, F&L, E.Camelinat & Co, & J.S.S.
