    This Fire Brigade marked helmet started with HW & Co to the front, then it was over painted red with HW FB. Haven't a clue what company HW were but they must have been quite large to have their own fire brigade.
    Bot shell & liner are dated 1940.

    Nice helmet Aaron, just a thought, but as I have just bought an red AFS helmet that is Irish, could this one be for Harland and Wolf ship builders in Belfast? Leon.

    Good idea Leon, I wish, but under the red paint is HW & Co. I don't think Harland & Wolff had a Co?
