On 11 February 1941, by approval of Queen Wilhelmina, the Dutch Legion gained a new name, the Prinses Irene Brigade (P.I.B.).
Helmet is dated 1940.
It looks as if the P.I.B decal has been applied over an formation sign, hence the repaint underneath.

Very nice and rare helmet!
Is this helmet marked in any other way, except manufacturer markings?
Cheers,

I've had a good look around, and can find no other markings, apart from the usual date/maker name.
