Article about: An 1939 dated army Mk2 with to both sides the flash of the Scots guards.The outside has been repainted at some time, but the wear suggest that this was done quite awhile ago.

    Very nice Aaron ! Is that Tony's old one ? It looks familiar.

    No, it's not Tony's old one, it's another. Just like his, & Petey's the flash is done in the same way, sand down the paint, apply flash & repaint around.

    Well congratulations on finding another one then ! They do all seem to conform to a standard ( unlike those we see on ebay )

    Looks good to me, I have seen several Scots Guards MKII helmets over the years and they nearly all seem to have been constructed in this manner. Leon.

    But this one is, although a bit more wear, you can see the same colour over paint.

    Stunning Scot Guards helmets, their flash is one of the nicest in my opinion. Very nice!
