    Thanks, Aaron.
    The chinstrap lugs are dated "1939".
    I think this helmet was used in CD and next in HG or the Army. Not sure.

    Thank You, Rob. Maybe You're right. But in real the external paint is mostly khaki than blue-gray IMO.

    So now were getting some new info here, these MkI's were refurbed in 37-39 now & not just from 37/38. The first batch more than likely had the MkI chin strap lugs then MkII's without dates on, then maybe dated MkII chin strap lugs 38/39. Getting a time line now.
