MkII Beach group ( Possible fake)
This one is on ebay at the moment & is up to £101.36, now if I'm not mistaken is this a post war Belgium helmet. It looks very similar to a couple of pics I put on, info needed on brodie helmets page 4. I'm pretty sure it's Belgium, it looks like it has the countersunk for the nut & bolt. Any ideas?

From what I can see it looks like a Belgian post war shell to me too.

To me the steel shell looks quite pitted..how then is the painted band not pitted or flaking also?And dont all mk2's have a stainless steel rim?

i would agree and say belgium m1949 its a very close copy of the british mk11 ,thanks james
