MkII FIRE BRIGADE/ ELECTRICIAN

A typical home front marked MkII with the original early war paint still on the inside but painted black on the outside with FB/E (Fire Brigade Electrician). Whether this person was a fireman or just attached to the fire brigade to assist with cutting off the electricty supple when needed I don't know.
The helmet is dated 1939 & made by F&L, the liner 1938 & made by J.C.S & W Ltd.
