    Default WW2 helmets

heres a few more of my helmets to be getting on with. Most are self explanatory. In the third photo, all are grey despite the ones looking black. BCT stands for Bournemouth Corporation Transport and about 20 years ago, about a dozen of these were found in their stores. I was lucky in getting what I thought was the best one. Not sure what the Control Room relates to. And I don't know which area the 21 RP/P comes from. The netted helmets are mainly Home Guard, Christchurch & St.Austell, the other has no history. I'll post more another day. Dave

Hi Dave, do any of the home guard helmets have unit markings/flashes on them?

A great collection of lids Dave.
    Regards,

    Jerry

    Whatever its just an opinion.

hi Jerry, no unit markings I'm afraid. The St.Austell one came from a family member and the Xchurch one came with various documents relating to that unit. The other was from a boot sale but the person selling it knew nothing of its history. (most of my helmets have come from boot sales or flea markets) Dave
