    Default MkII NFS/WARDEN

A MkII NFS helmet with in red a W to front & rear, pretty sure the W is for warden which he might have been in his spare time from being a fireman.
The helmet was originally painted black with a white F to the front (under the NFS decal) The paint scheme that you see now was done sometime from 1941 onwards as this was the year the NFS started.
The shell is dated 39 & made by BMB, the liner also dated 39 but made by HELMETS LTD.
