    Default MkII SHELTER MARSHAL

Shelter marshals or shelter wardens were responsible for keeping order, they were identified by a white armband or with a helmet marked with SM.
Many were part time though some large shelters had paid full timers.
Both helmet & liner are dated 1939 & made by BMB, the initials are on the sides & not as usual at front & back. The white helmet is an shelter warden.
