Hi Micheal I apologize with all honesty this thread had slipped my mind and I have been home and I am back at work for my next tour I will have to write my self a reminder for the next time I get home to the Island in a few weeks time .

I have used vehicle "bug and tar" remover with success. Just add it in small amounts and avoid surrounding paint. It doesn't damage the paint , but it can remove the dirt and patina.
