MkII U.S.N. Gunner talkers Helmet

Here I have United States Navy Gunner Talkers helmet. These were mainly manufactured by McCord same company who made the M1s. It is marked in black U.S.N. in the rear and (MK II) in the front. It is textured with cork the same as WW2 M1s and painted blue. This helmet is rusted up as to be expected with navy lids exposed to sea conditions. There is a stamp number of 685A at the front of the helmet but can not get a pic of it as its to faint. The liners were made by Firestone the same guys who made the liners for the M1s but unable to see any maker marks due to the overpaint of the liner. Thanks for looking guys.
