MKIV Helmet with regimental decal

Just wanted to show my MKIV " Turtle" helmet with a BMB made and 1945 dated liner, original chocolate brown paint inside and a rough green overpaint on the exterior. The best part is the Regimental decal at the front for the WEST RIDING REGIMENT (Duke of Wellington). This has most probably been added post war but I still love it. The chinstrap was missing when I bought it but I already have an appropiate one to fit, just haven't got round to it yet.

A great looking helmet & typical of the life of a Mk4, in that it was used for many years post war.
