Very nice Taka the nets and scrim look unissued both your examples of the two tones look to be the earlier first variations woven with the wide merrowed edge.
You will need to find a knotted example now I am just waiting on a very nice early Canadian lime green woven net to arrive in the post and then I just need to find an early khaki one and my set will be complete.

    Thank you, Mark.

Would like to see your new camo nets.

I would like to own a British Mosquito net, similar to this - The Collector's Guild

These were used as helmet cover as well, except cutting off the mesh part.

    Cheers!

    CDN Mk. II "Lime Green"

Here is a Mk.II that I got yesterday. Another nice example.

It has a rather light green color painted on, about 98% of the paint is still remained.

Shell maker is C.L./C. Dated 1941. With a 34 (Lot #) stamped directly under. Theses specs are stamped under the seam side.
No visible C-Broad Arrow is on the inner shell.

Chinstrap is a typical unmarked CDN example.

It comes with a mint size 6 7/8 liner dated 1942. A large version white C-Broad Arrow with 170 stamped on the outer dome.

Very very nice Taka I love these brushed on examples I have a few myself .
Any chance of a daylight shot so we can get a good look at the color of the repaint.

    Regards Mark
