Good deal as time permits I am only a few hours away perhaps we should get together sometime and discuss the finer aspects of Commonwealth helmets.

Hi Taka I must say after looking at the pictures on my lap top I am still not a big fan of the camo it really does not show any real age, wear and or patina I am stll on the fence as to weather thinner was used or not but I really do not like the texturing this is only my opinion though .

    Hi Mark,

What do you recommend on this one, should I remove it? And how?

    Thank you and regards,

IMO Taka you may ruin the finish underneath it ie. .. the sand texture paint .
This may be a case of the best course of action is not to take any action at all as I suspect the hand painted sand textured paint will come off in your attempt as it is not factory paint.
I would either display it as is and or add a net and call it a day.

    Thank you very much, Mark.

I'll leave it at is and add a net in near future.

    Cheers!
