Very nice! Just be careful handling the helmet, because under the felt there is a layer of asbestos.

your helmet is one of the example camouflaged on the field with sand and glue, this is an example of my collection camouflaged by the same procedure:

Nice example Max, I've acquired quite a few of these over the years. Often there is a name penciled in on the interior or strap.
Curious as to why the "P" designation as opposed to "M"?

Thank you for your input. I assumed it is a P, if that is incorrect my mistake. I just know it is a 1917.
