Real or Fake Helmets?

Hey guys, I recently picket up two helmets, I am not sure if they are real or fake, therefore I hope that you guys can help me find out!
I do not got any other info than some pictures!

Hello and welcome to the forum,the british helmet is certainly original although it looks to have been re-painted.As for the us one i could not say as i'm not even sure it is actually an american helmet! Leon

They both have been re-painted for sure! a pity, but i'll survive! :P

Hi, i really don't know, it just looks very mis-shaped for a US helmet,it almost looks like a 1st gulf war iraq shell,very squat and a long peak.That said i am no expert on that type of lid(i was based in the UK in a nuclear bunker weapons tracking at that time!!).The M1 type chaps will "chip in" i'm sure.

The second helmet looks to be a rear seam US Post War , but look inside around the forehead area - any letters or numbers? If not, chance its a Euro clone.

Re-painted so I cant see any numbers or letter!

The first is an original British brodie helmet, the other is a US helmet. The inside should tell if it's ww2 or after by a number being ww2, but MWA, I believe, plus the number being post. They did make the rear seam helmets from late 44 to early 45.
