Nice helmet and nice collection.
nice set,is there a list of the various abbreviations used? I have seen oneon the net but it is far from complete
There is a book which is in progress & hopefully will come out soon, it should answer a lot of questions. But it is quite a complicated subject, London had some different markings to the rest of the UK. Then in 41/42 they tried to standardize the markings Country wide, but you will always find markings on helmets that are not official or semi- official.

Wow...LR and HR, I've not found either of them white or black to go in my collection, not to mention the supervisor, I've not seen one with a diamond, I have a party leader (white with a black R) so I would agree that it is the supervisor rank above that. Great group, thanks for showing.
Steve.
Thanks for showing the BD, did'nt realise they were made for the rescue party, I thought it was 1 jacket to cover all the CD.
