    At a guess I would say the green paint is post war, seen loads of these S.A. Mk2's with British liners in, a lot are 43/44 dated. So guessing again were these helmets refurbished by the Brit's at the end of the war/post war? Then sold of to the many Countries that used them during the 50's & 60's. But until someone comes up with an 100% answer were all guessing.

    Question ! ... you not think that is a MK I helmet ... converted into MK II SA ... and then repainted by army ?

    After chin strap support style seems a MK I ?!
