Unknown helmet

Anyone know where this helmet is from? Seller claims it's U.S. but i'm sure it's not. Sorry about the liner size picture. It is cotton webbing on H style washers.

Those pictures are small, but that looks like a Bulgarian M36 or something similar.. Sure as hell not American! It looks a small bit like an M56 East German helmet, but green and the part that goes over the ears doesn't go down as much. From what i've seen, it's likely the Bulgarian M36 Helmet I mentioned earlier, but i'm no expert. Maybe somebody else here will know..

I think it's Yugo...try looking for an "NE44" although that's not actually what it is....it's kinda been given that name

Thanks guys. Yes, it is an M59 aka NE44. Bulgarian was similar but the liners were different. I googled most European countries that had similar helmets but all had leather liners.
