US M-3 Anti flak helmets

After talking about them on someone elses thread i thought id better show you the photos of my M3's As you can see the flocking has gone and so are the liners but i think there great all the same. One came from the US and cost me £98

& the other one came from the war and piece show and i got him down to £55.

Great helmets.

Once the collectors market figures out that a heck of a lot less of the anti-flack helmets were produced than the M1's I think they will become very hard to find.

ive seen them go for high prices one moment then low prices or not even sell the next so i think the desirability of these are still a bit up & down at the mo but collectors do seem to be becoming more interested as time goes on ?
