    Helmets yay!! Looks like a Kelly helmet there. Is that an M16 I see off to the side? Are you taking offers or just posting them on the classifieds?

    I don't think either of those helmets are actually examples of a WWI Doughboy helmet or a British Brodie

    I'm taking offers right now as long as the fellas here say they're ok. Yes that's a M16. I will post that in another thread right now.I'm still posting items.

    Any info is helpful as I just guessed . I am selling them for my Great Uncle and want info before I sell. I know one is covered in a cork OR sawdust texture.

    The cork covered one is a US M1917A1 helmet dating from around 1936-1941.

    The smoother one I'm not sure about. It looks like a copy of a British Mk II from some other country post-WW2. Somebody here will ID it's origin for you I'm sure

    Pretty sure it's a post war Dutch clone of the British MkII, probably late 40's. The sunk in nut & bolt to hold the liner in & brown coloured liner makes me pretty sure.
