    Can't tell about the liner, but it's a front seam shell without fixed bails, so it's either late WWII or into Korea.

    I like these darker toned helmets. The leather chin strap
    may be a repro - or NOS piece, but he liner looks
    in really good shape.........

    it has a dent on top, a small on, I didn't take a pic of that

    Yep. The decals on the liner were likely added late 50's,
    but it looks good to me.........

    104 Infantry Division "Timberwolf Division" Decal on liner.

    The sweatband and nape strap looks replaced.

    I don't think is too bad for $135.

    im out of my norm on this stuff. so decals are replaced? I mean for a ww2 helmet I guess its not to bad price...

    so its all of a Korean war helmet?

    I think the decal might be wartime applied, the original paint is underneath the decal. The dark green paint applied during Korean War era.

    I think the liner is a Firestone one.

    A late WWII ~ Korean War as William stated.

    Not a bad helmet at all. A good reference for M-1.
