    Default old Tonka toy

I'm stuck at home and can not work and am going a bit stir crazy so I might be posting
    more odd stuff than normal.

After seeing Ralph's beautiful Cobras, I though I might post this old
    project from about 2005.

I had found some old metal Tonka hotrods made back in the 1960's.
I decided to do a restoration on one of them.

Somewhere I have a pictures where I had finshed it off with a
windshield and frame and better interior shots but I can't seem
to find that file right now .

Sin city motors in miniature. Nice resto. I can only distantly recall my Tonka toys all being bright yellow, then turning orange as they slowly rusted in my sand pit!!

Nice job Greg, I was recently cleaning the basement, when I can across my old Tonka toys, Dump truck, Crane, etc.
I was wondered if people restored these classic toys, and now I know they do.
    Get well soon my friend.

That's better than Earl Scheib by a long shot, no overspray nor masking lines ;-)

I still have my old Tonka trucks from the 60's and 70's in my parents attic.. They still look brand new out of the box...

    Nice looking remodel...

I remember Tonka dump trucks, great in the sandpit.

Interesting item. Did you receive the bell I sent?

No bell yet I'm sure if I used it, my wife would be adding to
the number of dents it has.
