    Hi guys.

I've attached some more pics of some of my models.
Look and enjoy. All comments welcome

    The figures are:
British Army, Highland Regt RTO 1970s
    German Tank Hunter, WW2
    British tank crewman, Libya 1941
US Airborne, Op Market Gaden 1944
"Odin!", Viking warrior 1st century AD

The first 4 figures are 54mm, (approx 2 inches high) and are all metal apart from the German tank hunter which is a resin kit.
The last one, which I have posted for "something different", is entitled "Odin!" and is a 120mm scale resin and plaster kit.

Hope I havent taken up too much space on the forum/thread.

    Regards etc

    Ian

    Hi Ian,
Nice figures and detailed well, i like the diarama of the german soldier, very well made. and the viking he is someting different,
It doesnt matter what part of history the figures come from they all depict a part of the fighting history. I also collect lead military figures, im trying to get all the top brass of ww2, ie Monty ect
i have not long got Hitler.

    Hi Ian,
I was thinking of your viking and remembered a picture i was doing some years ago, it is of the battle of Hasting. It never got finished as i lost my mum and then one of my sisters the year after,
so now it is to damaged to complete. but i thought you might like to se it as it is the same period as the viking.

    Hi Dave and Nick

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated guys.

    Dave,
is this picture a print or an embroidary that you were/are doing? When you say that its "too damaged to complete" what do you mean? I actually like it as it is and would be very tempted to either get or make a frame and hang it on a suitable wall!

    All the best

    Hi Ian,
Thanks for the comment, it is a drawing i did but could not finish it.
As for the damage, as the cartidge paper it is on has been rolled many times and now i cant do a good line on it as it is creast.
It is hand drawn as are all my art works, this was for a client,
but i became ill after i lost some family. There was much more to do to it.

Dave, that is an awesome picture

I used to read and study the Viking era and living near York has made it the more interesting

Hi Nick, great period to study im very interested in it, I love to draw battle scenes I have done the Charge of the Light Brigade, Custer, Little Big Horn and some World War battles. It's the details I love to do. I think the more detail; the better the pic. I also have some Northern Ireland pics I have done, they have been on the forum I think? ( can't remember really) This old pic is doing nothing now just stored in the folder. I would like to re-do it some time.
