    A very sad image Pierre , i have this pic to , he looks alot younger that 13 , my son is nine , thank god he will never be put in the same situation as that little guy , cheers Raymond

    the young boy in the pic play with MP44 or mp40

    Sad,yes. Tuff times makes for tuff choices. Not his fault,but 13 or 30, they can kill just as dead.

    Kids like this were knocking out T 34's with Panzerfausts in Berlin in May 1945 !! What a childhood talk about old before your time !!

    Very sad picture and even sadder that there are still regimes around the world using children as combatants even today.

    Very true Dim i've seen photos of young Russian kids carrying PPSH's during the Sevastopol siege !!

    I recall seeing this photo before. Yes, sadly child soldiers are still with us all around the world.

    I noticed that he is wearing a re-issued former Slovakian army cap. Note the very low front to the turn up.
