    Thought I'd share this touching story with those of you who haven't already read it ---

    I freely admit that I rarely read anything that actually makes me happy on behalf of our species but this one really did make my day. Hundreds of people are supposed to be showing up to honor the man, he nearly made it to 100 --- a fitting exit for a ww2 vet.

    Good on them is all i can say, what a sad end if only a few people from the care home attended!..
    It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

    I hope it is packed out. He sounded like quite a character. It always interested me to know what veterans did after the War.
